By opening a Santander Edge Student current account you’ll have a chance to win one of our 50 prizes worth either £27,750 or £9,250.
Experience student life with less worries and start planning for your future.
The winners of the prize draw will be randomly selected by 14 October and will be notified by email before 21 October.
We will also try to call you to discuss your prize if we hold a telephone number for you. Our colleague will need you to pass security, so you'll need to provide some information.
The prize will be paid into the winners Santander Edge Student current account by 10 November 2024.
We will not need you to provide your account, card or log on details to pay in your prize money.
Keeping your account safe and secure
This is a good opportunity for us to share some general security tips with you. These can help you stay safe and protect yourself from fraud and scams.
- Never share a Santander One Time Passcode (OTP), with another person, not even a Santander employee.
- Never download software or let anyone remotely log on to your computer or other devices following or during a cold call.
- Never enter your Online Banking or bank card details after clicking on a link in an email or text message.
Criminals may contact you and pretend to be Santander, if you’re ever asked to move your money or share details, it will be a scam. Stop and contact us straight away.
Can I opt out?
You can opt out of the prize draw by emailing your full name, date of birth and post code to PrizeDraws@Santander.co.uk
If a winner tells the Promoter they don’t want to receive their prize, a new winner will be selected at random.
What happens if the winner can’t be reached?
If the winner can’t be reached within 14 days of being told they’ve won, the prize will still be paid into their Santander Edge Student current account.
Do I need to use the money for my tuition fees?
There is no obligation for the prize to be used to pay your tuition fees.
