You could register a Power of Attorney, alternatively you could apply for third party access or a Carers Card Account
1. Power of Attorney
Power of Attorney lets you arrange for someone you trust to manage your finances on your behalf. You may want to do this due to a change in your health or a change in your circumstances, such as moving abroad. You may not need someone to help you now, but you can set up a Power of Attorney for the future, just in case.
Ordinary Power of Attorney
This is typically used to cover a temporary period, such as a hospital stay or holiday, or for those who find it hard to get to a branch. Ordinary Power of Attorney can only be used while you can make your own decisions.
Lasting Power of Attorney
This is usually used to give someone legal authority over your finances to help you when you can still manage it (have mental capacity) but are worried you may lose mental capacity in the future. You can also plan for a Lasting Power of Attorney to start at a future time. A Lasting Power of Attorney was previously known as Enduring Power of Attorney. You can still register an Enduring Power of Attorney with us if it’s dated before 1 October 2007.

2. Third party access
You can also ask us to set up third party access, so that someone can help you manage your Santander banking or savings account(s).
Third party access doesn’t need a legal document and is only available for Santander customers who have the mental capacity to understand and make their own financial decisions. You might set third party access up if you’re going into hospital or having medical treatment, living abroad or travelling. The person helping you must be over 18 and a UK resident.
It's important to know that we'll remove third party access from any accounts if we receive a request to register a Power of Attorney or a Court of Protection, Scottish Guardianship or Northern Ireland Controllership order is received. Third party access will also be removed if we're notified of a loss of mental capacity.

3. Carers Card Account
Our Carers Card Account lets you give debit cards to up to 2 people who care for you. You can keep the money you transfer to your Carers Card Account entirely separate from your other current and savings accounts with us and your carer(s) can get cash or go shopping for you. The Carers Card is a separate account, so your carer(s) will only be able to see and spend the money you put in.
It's important to know that we'll remove an existing third party access from any accounts if we receive a request to register a Power of Attorney or a Court of Protection, Scottish Guardianship or Northern Ireland Controllership order is received. Third party access will also be removed if we're notified of a loss of mental capacity.
