Figures published today by Santander UK show there were 172,332 complaints received by the bank between 1 January and 30 June 2019.

On Thursday 22^nd August 2019, Santander UK will officially open its newly refurbished branch at 9 Folly Hall Road, Wibsey, BD6 1UL. It is the latest of Santander’s branches to be re-designed as part of a programme to deliver even better customer service and community-friendly banking.

Banco Santander and Credit Agricole today announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop clients (SMEs and Midcaps) mutual referral, thanks to the strong correlation of their domestic and international networks. The MOU was signed by Fernando Lardies, Global Trade Services Lead on behalf of the Santander Group and Didier Gaffinel, Head of Global Coverage & Investment Banking Crédit Agricole CIB, for Crédit Agricole Group.

Santander is set to open its first Midlands-based lounge for its Private Banking, Select and Business customers at Unit 6, Caxton Gate, Corporation Street, Birmingham B2 4LP on 19 July 2019. The dedicated area will provide the bank’s new and existing Private Banking, Select and Business customers, with access to all its wealth solutions in one convenient place. It is the second of Santander’s Private Banking lounges to open in the UK and underlines the bank’s commitment to customers in the local community.

Almost three quarters (70%) of high-growth businesses in the UK are confident in their ability to handle the impacts of Brexit, compared to just half (49%) of lower-growth businesses, according to latest Trailblazers survey commissioned by Santander¹.
