Today, Santander's Business Banking is rated first across all categories in Northern Ireland according to Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) new service rankings to compare the quality of service from Business Current Account providers1.
Santander Business Banking is the highest performing bank in any category including; overall service quality, online/mobile banking service, relationship and account management, services in branches and business centres and overdraft and loan services in Northern Ireland.
These results are from an independent survey carried out between September 2017 and June 2018 as part of a regulatory requirement. Banks, building societies and regulators have worked together to develop comprehensive information for customers and businesses to ensure competitiveness and transparency about the quality of service offered by financial providers. The results will be displayed on websites and branches of providers to publish objective measures of service performance.
Santander is supportive of any initiative that gives customers the information needed to find the service best suited to their needs, and welcome the new recommendations from CMA.
Sue Douthwaite, Managing Director, Santander Business Banking, said: “We are delighted that Santander Business Banking has been so highly rated in the Northern Ireland market. Santander has long served business customers well and we have a strong network in Northern Ireland with a track record of innovating and driving competition. We continue to support our business banking customers, and the rating is a testament to Santander’s commitment to help businesses prosper.”
