In his new role as UK Head of Automotive, Rail & Marine, Santander Corporate & Commercial, Sean will be leading the sub-sectors team to develop the proposition for UK manufacturers. Based in London, Sean will report to Paul Brooks, UK Head of Manufacturing for Santander Corporate & Commercial Banking.
Sean joins from Department for International Trade (DIT), where he was posted in the UK and Japan, supporting multinationals with international trade and building sector partnerships. Prior to his role at DIT, Sean was a Senior Consultant at Mazars, the UK audit and accounting firm, advising clients in the UK and overseas. Sean started his career as an Export and Logistics Manager at Silver Telecom Ltd.
Paul Brooks, UK Head of Manufacturing, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and his appointment will broaden our sector expertise and strengthen our international proposition to the manufacturing industry across the UK. Manufacturing enjoyed an excellent year in 2017, and we will continue to support businesses in the sector by delivering products and solutions based on their needs in order to help them prosper.”
