Santander Corporate & Commercial has appointed Mark Challis as a Director, Financial Sponsors team.
In his new role, Mark will be responsible for supporting financial sponsors and management teams in the mid corporate market place across the Thames Valley and wider South region. Mark will also work closely with the team in London and across the UK and will report to Andrew Clayton, National Head of Financial Sponsors for Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking.
Mark joins from RBS and has over seven years of experience originating and executing a wide range of transactions in the mid-market leveraged finance space.

With a proven track record and considerable experience in the market place, Mark will provide additional support for our clients across the South region. We have invested considerably in the team and local markets over the last year, and also across the wider financial sponsors team, where his existing network of contacts will complement the business we are building.”
