From 20 May 2024, Santander UK will be changing the interest rate offered on its off-sale, variable rate Easy Access Saver Limited Edition (Issue 3) account. It currently pays 5.20% AER on balances up to £250,000, which will change to 4.20% AER.
From today, 8 March, Santander will be contacting all Easy Access Saver Limited Edition (Issue 3) customers to provide them with two months’ notice of the new rate, which will continue to offer a near top of market return for an easy access saver account.
The reduction is due to the current market conditions.
All other terms of the account, remain the same and customers can access their money at any time with no charges.

Santander continues to offer a range of other savings products including:
- Santander Edge Saver providing 7.00% AER / 6.78% gross (variable) interest on balances up to £4,000 (includes 2.50% AER (variable) bonus rate for the first 12 months from opening) exclusive for Santander Edge current account customers.
- Regular Saver providing 5.00% AER/gross (fixed) for 12 months. Save up to £200 a month paid by standing order from a Santander current account.
- Easy Access Saver providing 1.70% AER/gross (variable) for 12 months.
