Edwards Coaches, the largest independent coach operator in Wales and one of the largest in the UK, has secured a £11.4 million funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial to assist with the set-up of its recently purchased Avonmouth Depot and to fund 40 additional coaches. The funding will also support the recruitment of approximately 110 new employees.

In line with the FCA complaints data reporting requirements, figures published today by Santander UK reveal there were 162,529 complaints received by the bank during the first half of 2017. This is a six per cent increase on the number reported for the second half of 2016, driven by a 25 per cent increase in PPI related complaints following regulatory announcements made in March 2017.

Today, Santander has announced the launch of Talking ATMs across its entire branch network in the UK. Customers now have the option to plug into the earphone socket on the front of the ATM to be guided through their transaction by voice assistance either with or without the use of the ATM screen.
