Nigeria and India were the top two fastest-growing export destinations for UK goods in 2018, according to analysis1 by Santander Corporate & Commercial of the latest ONS export data. UK exports to Nigeria grew by 27% last year to £1.63 billion, while those to India were up 24% to £5.52 billion.

Dotsquares, the Albourne, Sussex-based website design, development and support company, has opened a new office in London after receiving a seven-figure funding package from Santander Business Banking. Figures published today by Santander UK show there were 167,820 complaints received by the bank during the second half of 2018, a 13 per cent decrease on the number reported for the first half of 2018.

An innovative new £200 million funding platform for the UK’s SME house builders has been launched today by Santander Corporate & Commercial. Run in conjunction with private investment firm, Topland Group, the Residential Development Financing Platform will provide access to finance for residential developers with the aim of encouraging new housing developments in established communities.
